Ball Mastery Classes Pre K - K
What is Ball Mastery for Pre K and K?
The Ball Mastery Pre K and K program is offered each fall and spring season and designed to expose young players to the structure and learning environment set by professional trainers. This creates the opportunity for players to enhance their soccer knowledge and skills while building a solid technical foundation and enjoyment for the game.
We are proud to have many of our Junior Academy and Academy coaches working with your kids and providing the best sessions where your kids are learning while having fun.
Pre-K and Kindergarten (boys and girls) must be born between 8/31/2014 - 10/1/2012
The main objective of this program is to create a learning environment that is both productive and fun. We strive to set a framework for our young players to learn how to train and follow directions while having fun learning the game. We believe this will help prepare our youngest players for long-term involvement in the sport. Our focus is to improve general coordination and body awareness, improve individual ball control and dribbling skills, introduce basic passing concepts, and foster creativity.
Ball Mastery sessions are offered in the fall and spring of each year (coinciding with the Rec soccer seasons).
Hour-long training sessions will take place once per week for 6 weeks on premium fields. It is highly recommended that kids in the ball mastery program also play on a recreation soccer team to continue building skills and gaining game experience. ASA Rec league coaches are asked not to schedule team practice during this time frame, so this additional training should not interfere with a player’s weekly rec team practice.
