ASA will be conducting referee training for players 13 years old and up. We will consider players who are 12 years old but turning 13 in 2013 if they are mature for their age. This training will allow those who graduate to referee ASA recreational games for ages U9 through U12 as both a center referee and an assistant referee (linesperson).
Dates: Feb. 25th, March 4th, March 11th (Mondays). Candidates must attend all three classes.
Time: 7:30 – 9:30PM
Where: Lee Center (1108 Jefferson Street, Alexandria, VA 22314)
Cost: $25 (refunded if you ref 6 games this Spring)
Requirements: Must be a soccer player (preference given to ASA players); must demonstrate in class the necessary maturity to be a referee; must pass final written examination.
Number of students: Limited to 12
